Aviva Giannotti, CCC, LMHC, is a native New Yorker with a New York State License in mental health counseling, school counseling and teaching. 

She has more than 20 years of experience in career counseling and coaching and got her start at Brooklyn College.   

After relocating to New Jersey she distinguishes herself among the elite in her profession as the only “Certified Career Counselor” (CCC) in Bergen County, NJ.  In addition to being the only CCC in Bergen County, NJ she is also a licensed NJ Counselor in Student Personnel Services and holds a NJ Teachers License in Consumer Science and Life Skills. 

She holds a master’s degree in counseling and has had extensive career training by the late Michael Farr, educator and founder of JIST Publishing and author of more than 20 career books.


She is recognized by  the National Career Development Association as a Certified Career Counselor,  member of American Counseling Association and Middle Atlantic Career Counseling Association.  She is a board member of  Career Development Network Specialists.

Prior to starting her practice she has worked as Director of Career Services at Touro College, Director of Career Services at the United Jewish Council, Coordinator for Displaced Homemakers and Career Counselor for a technical school and Brooklyn College.  She is well known in her profession as the person who gets results for her clients and individually tailors her approach to meet their career goals.
